A RP07 form (Application to change a company's disputed registered office address) will be filed with Companies House should our address be used as a company’s registered office address without having authority to do so. This may be due to: -
- Failed payments
- Unsatisfied due diligence
- Address squatting – using our address without our permission
Once an RP07 form has been filed, Companies House will write to the directors of said company to inform them that an RP07 has been filed and they will provide the evidence that has been submitted. The company has 28 days to respond and amend the address details. If this doesn’t happen Companies House will remove our address as the registered office and put their default Cardiff address in its place. Once filed, only a paper AD01 form can be used to update the registered office address
RP07 process for Failed Payments
Zoho
- Create a ticket
- Ensure the subject of ticket has the full company name
- Email the company using the RA – Forced cancellation – RP07 notification email template.
- Set the due date on ticket for 5 working days’ time
- Category of ticket: RA Failed payment
- Sub Category: Payment default – Final email sent
- Add a note to state – Final payment default email sent to customer notifying an RP07 form will be filed. Check companies house – Provide due date in ticket so it is clear to whoever is picking up that we need to check Companies House to see whether Registered Office address has been changed.
LCO
- Go to Companies – locate company – click edit to enter account
- Change RTS all mail to True
- Click on customers email address
- Add an account note on LCO include the following– your Initials – reference ticket number – Hold mail due to failed payment – Final payment default email has been sent. This will be reviewed again on Provide due date to show when this will be reviewed again
Zoho
- Add a note on the ticket to state you have updated LCO copy below: RTS all mail – status changed to True. Account note added your Initials –ticket number – Hold mail due to failed payment – Final payment default email has been sent. This will be reviewed again on Provide due date
- Assign ticket to RP07 team
- The RPO7 team will review the case after 5 working days
- Check companies House to see whether Registered office address has been changed.
If yes
LCO
- Cancel Registered agent service in LCO – check stripe to confirm it has been cancelled.
- Update note to state customer has changed Registered office address and cancelled.
Zoho
- Update ticket Sub Category to Cancelled – Customer changed address
- Write to customer to confirm the RA service has been cancelled and no further action required.
- Add note to ticket to confirm RA in LCO and Stripe has been cancelled
- Close ticket
If No
- Complete the RP07 form - RP07 Form
- Complete section 3 of the attached form with Company Number and Company name.
- Add the text as listed below in section 5
- Save file as RP07_company name
Text for RP07 Form Failed Payment:
Failed payment for the use of our registered office address service 130 Old Street, London EC1V 9BD. The Registered office address service was taken at start of incorporation PROVIDE DATE to protect our clients residential address from the public domain. The Registered agent service is in arrears. We have reached out to our client and requested they login to web filing to amend the Registered Office address for their company on Companies house so that the service can be cancelled. Our client has not updated the Registered office address at this point. We have made our client aware that we will be processing an RP07 form for the removal of our Registered office address from the public records on Companies House for the company name mentioned in section 3 of this form. Please replace with Companies House Cardiff default address.

- Attach RP07 form to ticket
- Add note – Company name is still showing our registered office address on Companies House. RP07 form attached ready to be submitted. On the RP07 form sign with ppp Rebecca Farley TheFormationscompany.com
- Go to Payment default email that was sent. Click on Show original
- Click on the printer icon top right – Click save to PDF – add the company name where it says case thread action _company name
- Save file and attach to Zoho
- Go into TFC Hub and masquerade the account. Download a copy of the first invoice. Save as (Invoice_company name) attach to Zoho ticket.
- Provide screen shot of invoice to show the invoice number and company name (Word Doc)

Example 1: Company took our Registered Agent service when the company was formed with us.
We are unable to satisfy our due diligence requirements therefore we have written to the Company to confirm the Registered Agent service has been terminated with immediate effect. To ensure the company receives their vital Statutory mail we have asked the company to update their Registered Office Address as well as the Correspondence addresses for any Director, Secretary and PSC. The address details remain unchanged. I am requesting the removal of our Registered Office address from the company Company Name. Please find attached evidence of email informing of termination and intent to submit an RP07 form on behalf of the company if not changed.
Example 2: The Registered Office Address (Registered Agent Service) has been terminated with immediate effect for (company name)
We have written to the Company to confirm the Registered Agent service has been terminated with immediate effect. To ensure the company receives their vital Statutory mail we have asked the company to update their Registered Office Address as well as the Correspondence addresses for any Director, Secretary and PSC. The address details remain unchanged.
Please find attached evidence of email informing of termination and intent to submit an RP07 form on behalf of the company if not changed. I am requesting the removal of our Registered Office address from the company Company Name.
Example 3: Company was formed fraudulently
There is no requirement for the Registered Agent service or use of our 130 Old Street address - As this is not a genuine Entity please remove our Registered office address from the register under (company name). The company is in Active proposal to strike off, this was raised directly with Companies House. Please remove our registered office address from the company and place your default Cardiff address.
Example 4: Squatters
This company (company name) is squatting on our address without our permission. Request to Companies House to remove our 130 Old Street address from the company register. I have provided a bill as supporting evidence that TheFormationsCompany are registered at 130 Old Street, London. EC1V 9BD

How to withdraw an application
If the customer responds to our email and decides to uphold the service and make a payment or provide the requested documents after the initial deadline (5 days), we can then reach out to Companies House and request a termination of the process (if within the first 28 days before Companies House processes the request).
Should the customer respond to us after Companies House has already removed the registered office address and put the default Cardiff address in its place only a paper AD01 form can be used to make changes to the registered office address moving forward.
To request the termination of the RP07 process (within the first 28 days) send an email to registrarsfunctions@companieshouse.gov.uk quoting the submission reference number and quote the reason for cancelling the process.
5. Completing an AD01 form to request the removal of Companies House Default address once an RP07 process has been completed.
- We will need to complete AML - Proof of address (within 3 months) and Photo ID verified - Must receive a pass
- Customer will need to pay outstanding invoices and update payment details if necessary
- Set up monthly/Yearly payment in LCO and ensure account is active
- Complete AD01 form - Form will need to be printed from Companies House and filled in manually.
